Subject: China Update
Hello BQ Nationals! Wish we could be with you this summer. Please pray for my 
missions team of 20 from Morrison Academy as we head to China. We thought we 
were going to do ministry in Beijing at the Olympics but God had other ideas 
in mind. He has redirected us to Chengdu,China on July 31 to do earthquake 
relief-distributing food to villages and building water purifiers. Pray for 
safety for all and for the people to see the love of Jesus in our actions 
even if we aren't openly able to use words. You can pray that we will use 
the right words too, if possible. Jessica Chu from last year's BQ team is 
going, as is my 11 yr.old son Logan. Hopefully we'll be back at Nationals with 
a team or 2 next year!

Hey Evart Quizzers,
Just want you to know that while you're all down in Spring Arbor chilling on the beach 
(that's what's going on, right??) I'm up here at the church working on internship stuff. 
:-) And it's raining. And I'm not on the beach. Don't you feel bad? 
 I hope the quizzing is going good, and that you're having some fun, too! If anybody 
 was concerned (because I was...I worried about it all weekend. Lol.) The Fuse is back, 
 and the VeggieTales are GONE!!!!! They took about a three day break to clean up their 
 computers, organize the old music and make room for a ton of new stuff. So the new and 
 improved Fuse is back, and should be cooler than ever!!

I just wanted to let you know that I’ve been praying for you!  I printed out a schedule, and have been 
praying for each and everyone one of you before each quiz.
I’m watching the scores as they are being posted.  Julianne, Allison, Paul, and Josh you guys ROCK!  
You are doing GREAT!  All of that studying is paying off, not only in competition, but it will in your 
lives as well.  Sam and Alyssa keep your spirits up!  You are doing GREAT too!  Being a 2 person team is
