Hi everyone!

We sure miss being there with you.  I tried to look at the stats and 
couldn’t figure them out.  Oh well….I know you are all doing well!!  
More than anything we hope that you have grown closer to God and to the 
people you are with.  I remember being at Roberts a couple of years ago 
and I really loved the worship time.  I have been thinking about the ice 
cream in the dining hall a little bit too!!  We have been praying for 
you guys every day and hope you come away from this week excited about 
quizzing and most of all about being a Christian and getting to learn 
the Bible in this way.  I hear they are talking about putting together 
a quiz team in Colorado!  We need to find out more about that.  We love

Dear Eric and Paul,
 
I just visited the Bible Quiz web site, and enjoyed seeing the pictures of what's 
happening there at Quiz Finals.  And I look forward to seeing more pictures and 
stats as they become available.  
 
This morning medical tests (a treadmill, blood test, and echocardiogram) were run 
at Mayo Clinic, and I met with my heart doctor in the afternoon.  Here's the good 
news:  My heart has returned to normal size (following the surgery in December), 
and my blood pressure is good.  The output of my heart has increased 30 percent 
in the last three months, and the treadmill indicated that I am experiencing no 
limitation in performance due to the heart surgery.
 
I so much appreciate your prayers and the prayers of quizzers and coaches across 
the United States. I am praying that God will bless the ministry of Quiz Finals 
this week, and be at work in the heart of each participant.
